Do we have a specific hashtag to track on twitter and listen in to all the tweets during the WordCamp? I know this will help our twitter enthusiasts and others who want to hear the opinion of attendees about the event. #wcphx is available and appropriate. What do you say?

See you soon, I am excited to speak!

  2. Hey, is there an e-mail newsletter or signup somewhere? I would like to watch the streaming video but it would be nice to get a reminder. Any plans for that at all?

    Thanks and best wishes,
    Kristen

Im really excited for this Phoenix Wordcamp! It looks to be outstanding.

  4. Not sure if I'm going to attend or watch the live stream. I'm new to blogging, so we'll see. I have a feeling it will be better for a new blogger to attend and develop some relationships. :)

    • You'd get more out of going and interacting with the community honestly. All of my personal work comes from referrals and word of mouth, I haven't advertised since 2003ish… point is build a good network and you don't have to :)
Also it sounds like you'd be interested in another event I'm organizing called PodCampAz – it's the day after WordCamp and right up the road at UAT. Cost is free and is both Sat and Sun and is all about blogging and new media. You'll get a lot of info out of that too, and again, awesome people.

Hi unfortunately I can't make the wordcamp as I'm in the UK. Is the video going to be made downloadable after the event at all? Thanks

I really wanna go, it sounds awesome.. I'm 14 years old, is there a minimum age limit? Would it be weird if I came?

    Thank you.

    • dude not at all… one of our speakers is 16! lol… it'd be awesome if you came – good knowledge for you to pickup and tons of great people for you to talk to and get with about questions or just telling em who you are. See you there man! :)

Awesome! Wow lol thats crazy, I hope I can get that good at this stuff at his age. I hope I can go, yes I really am very interested into making websites, blogs, seo, making money, etc.. I've been working on most of those and I would love to get better at it.

        Yes, see you there:)

        Thanks again.

how does the streaming work? is it really live video for the entire 9 hours? i'm in vegas and i'd love to come down – but i only just discovered this site and flights are expensive! (and the drive is 5 hours each way…) and the hotel is booked. :( is there still a fee to watch online?

    • No fee to watch online – that'd be lame! We'll also have all the video archived as well. I'm not sure how the stream is going to work exactly… It should be all day tho, sans maybe lunch. But we'll definetly have it archived and we're working with Wordpress.tv to get them hosted. Keep an eye on the http://phxwordcamp.com/LIVE/ page as we'll put all details there… and when it's all said and done I'll be making an archive page with all the info. :)
      Have fun in Vegas!
